26th to 28th of September, 2011
A team from ISL visited the CDS Office and Training Centre located at Ashby de la
Launde, Lincolnshire, UK from the 26th. to the 28th. of September 2011. The three
days were spent on training on a simulator as well as exposure to various products.
Post intensive discussions over the three days, an agreement was signed which has
far reaching implications on a partnership between the two organisations on introduction
of various products in the Indian market, possible transfer of technology and joint
ventures in India for assembly and / or manufacture for domestic use as well as

ISL is proud to be invited to the ‘Infantry Commander’s Conference in Mhow’, being
organised in September 2011. The Infantry Commanders' Conference, a biennial exercise
of the Indian army, will be held at the Infantry School here in the first week of
September. The Army chief Gen V K Singh will attend this conference.Top brass of
the infantry fraternity of the Indian army attends this conference once every two
years to discuss about the strategies, technological aspects and future military
challenges before the nation. An official of the Infantry School told PTI that though
a wide variety of subjects will be discussed in the conference, a special emphasis
